At Special Occasion Hire, much of our work is for weddings, but we also design and decorate venues for a huge range of other events, including birthdays, anniversaries, bridal and baby showers, corporate events and more.
 

We specialise in helping you design and create the setting for your party. This includes creating themes and colour schemes, providing chair covers and sashes, tablecloths and napkins, vases and table centre pieces. We provide the equipment and decorations, dress the room for you, add design flair and ensure everything look truly amazing for your big day.
 

We are also able to provide much of the equipment, including covers and sashes, on a hire only basis for both private and business clients.
 

We provide these specialist services across the London area. We are also able to serve areas of Essex and the South East. If in doubt, please get in touch so we can discuss your needs in more detail.
 

Our founder, Rosemary, is a mother of four with a background in design and fashion. She has worked for some of the biggest names in fashion, and is hugely experienced in helping clients bring their dreams to life.
 

When Rose got married in 2005 she realised how much of a challenge was involved in creating the right setting for a wedding event – but also how much she loved the creative and design side of getting everything just right.
 

So Rose created a company which specialises in helping to design and dress the ideal venue for any event.
